He is the first foal for Josie, who is one of many impressive Jive Magic mares in the Ryan herd.
Josie is out of Anky, by FEI stallion Ilkay out of an Elfenglanz mare out of Alpha II, herself an FEI level dressage horse with the then teenaged but now Olympian Kristy Oatley.
